At Univerx we build co-browsing, one-click video calls and smart routing for sales and support teams. Describing a screen over the phone is the slowest part of both jobs, so we built a way to just look at it together.

Our customers work in finance, insurance, healthcare, energy and the public sector. They see 35% higher conversion, 60% faster resolution and 45% fewer support tickets once the agent and the customer share the same screen.

We are a small, ambitious team that values curiosity, ownership and collaboration. We move quickly, ask for feedback early, and care about the details. If that sounds like how you work, we would like to hear from you.

The Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll build the agent console and the embed that drops Univerx into a customer's site with one line of code. You'll own features from component to production, working closely with design.

Performance and accessibility are treated as features here, not clean-up tasks.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain product features in a modern component-based frontend.
  • Own the embed script: small, isolated, and safe on any host page.
  • Contribute components and tokens back to Univerx's design system.
  • Keep bundles small and interactions fast on mid-range devices.
  • Write tests that cover the behaviour agents depend on during a live call.
  • Make every interactive element keyboard reachable and screen-reader friendly.
  • Review pull requests and help raise the frontend bar across the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years building production web applications.
  • Strong TypeScript, modern CSS and component architecture skills.
  • Experience with a reactive framework such as Svelte, React or Vue.
  • Practical knowledge of web performance and rendering behaviour.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and assistive technology.
  • Comfort collaborating directly with designers on details.
  • Experience with automated testing and code review.
